Manhunt Launched For Murder Suspect

LAND O’ LAKES, FL — The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is asking for help locating a man wanted on second-degree murder charges in connection with a fatal Wednesday shooting in the Land O' Lakes area. According to the agency, Jonathan Cobb, 39, has been connected to the crime. Cobb also faces a warrant on possession of a firearm by a felon when he is captured.

Deputies say Cobb and Bobby Jordan, 52, got into a dispute Wednesday on Hanson Road in the Land O' Lakes area. That dispute ended with Jordan's death.

Cobb is believed to be driving a red 2000 Dodge Ram 1500. The truck has a Florida tag with the number GLNU20 on it. Deputies say Cobb is known to frequent Pasco, Pinellas and Hernando counties.

Anyone with information on Cobb's whereabouts is asked to contact local law enforcement immediately.

While few details related to Jordan's death have been released, Pasco deputies have said the two men knew each other. Authorities believe a dispute between the two took a violent turn Wednesday, leading to the shooting.

Further information about the shooting is not being released at this time.
