Land O’ Lakes Man, 23, Reported Missing, Endangered

LAND O’ LAKES, FL — The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help finding a 23-year-old man reported as missing from the Land O’ Lakes area. Deputies have classified Richard Scott Zimmer as endangered.

Zimmer is described as standing about 5-foot-10. He weighs about 200 pounds and has a muscular build, brown hair and a beard. He was last seen wearing a red-and-black Buccaneers shirt and khaki shorts.

Zimmer is homeless, but has been staying at the camp behind the Circle K at U.S. 41 and Hale Road, the sheriff’s office reported.

“Anyone who sees Richard should call 911 immediately,” a Friday morning email from the agency said.

No further information is available at this time.
