Land O' Lakes Man Accused of Groping Woman at Whiskey Willy's

A Land O’ Lakes man was arrested Monday after being accused of groping a woman in the bathroom at Whiskey Willy's in Lutz and pulling her into a stall. 

A woman was exiting a stall in the women's bathroom at the bar just before midnight when she saw a man in the room, according to a Pasco County Sheriff’s Office arrest report.

She told the man to leave, but instead he groped her and pulled her into a stall.

The bartender heard the woman yell for help. He told the man to leave the bar. 

Pasco deputies later located him at State Road 54 just west of Land O’ Lakes Boulevard.

Rickey Maharaj, 36, of 7012 Ongar Court, Land O' Lakes, was arrested early Tuesday morning and charged with simple battery and false imprisonment.  He was released  from the Land O’ Lakes Jail Monday on $5,150 bail.
