Land O' Lakes Motorcyclist Killed In Thanksgiving Day Crash

LAND O' LAKES, FL — A 27-year-old Land O' Lakes man died on Thanksgiving Day after a sports utility vehicle turned in front of his motorcycle, causing him to crash.

At 7:31 p.m., an SUV driven by a 16-year-old Dade City girl was heading east on State Road 54 toward the intersection of County Road 579. When she reached the intersection, she turned left into the path of the motorcyclist, causing him to collide with the right side of the SUV.

He was taken to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.
