Land O’ Lakes Murder Suspect Captured
The man wanted in connection with a Wednesday shooting death in Land O' Lakes was located in Hernando County.
LAND O’ LAKES, FL — The search for a man wanted in connection with a Wednesday shooting death in Land O’ Lakes ended early Thursday morning.
According to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office, Jonathan Cobb, 39, was located in the parking lot of the Hampton Inn at 30301 Cortez Blvd. in Hernando County around 8 a.m. April 27. Hernando deputies brought him into custody not too long after finding his truck in a Winn-Dixie parking lot on Commercial Way.

Cobb faces second-degree murder charges in connection with the Wednesday death of Bobby Jordan, 52. Pasco County deputies say the two men got into an argument on Hanson Road Wednesday. That dispute ended with Jordan’s death.
Cobb is expected to be brought back to Pasco County for booking in the Land O’ Lakes jail soon. Further information about the shooting is not yet being released.
