Land O' Lakes Resident Dies Crossing U.S. Highway 41
The incident occurred Thursday, July 18, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
A 23-year-old Land O' Lakes pedestrian died while crossing U.S. Highway 41 just south of Caliente Boulevard in Land O' Lakes.
Sean Michael Battle was walking southbound on the east shoulder of the highway around 11:30 p.m. Thursday (July 18), according to Florida Highway Patrol. As Battle then crossed west, he stepped into the path of a 1999 Isuzu Rodeo driven by Jesse Michael Robinson, 23, of Tennessee.
The incident remains under investigation.
