Land Purchase Expands Pulte Homes’ Presence In Pasco County

LAND O' LAKES, FL — Pulte Homes has purchased an additional 80 acres of land in Land O’ Lakes to expand its presence in Pasco County.

The purchase closed in early January and will be used to expand the homebuilder’s Whispering Pines by Pulte community.

Presales are ongoing and the community hosted its grand opening March 25 where three professionally decorated model homes and a sales center opened for tours at 20876 Drake Elm Drive in Land O’ Lakes.

Located off Lake Patience Road, Whispering Pines by Pulte will offer 330 single-family homes when fully completed. Approximately 100 homes will be built on the additional 80 acres, while 228 homes are already slated in the first phase of the community.

Whispering Pines is located near State Road 54, Interstate 75, Veterans Parkway and the Suncoast Parkway.

In addition to consumer-inspired floor plans of one- and-two-story homes, homeowners will enjoy an array of resort-style amenities for all ages within a gated community.

Construction will begin soon on the community clubhouse with a spacious cabana, a swimming pool, and splash buckets that will keep children entertained for hours. Other planned amenities include waterside walking trails, children’s playground, hammock lawn, grilling area, and a dog park with sections for both large and small dogs.

Students who live in the Whispering Pines community are currently zoned for Oakstead Elementary School, Charles Rushe Middle School and Sunlake High School.
