Landlord Dispute Leads to Battery Charges

An altercation over a landlord-tenant issue landed a Land O' Lakes man in jail Sunday after deputies say he battered an elderly man.

According to a Pasco County complaint affidavit, Cesar Augusto Bonelli, 41, grabbed the man and forced him outside of a Land O' Lakes home during the course of an argument. The man, who is over the age of 65, according to the report, had minor injuries and a ripped shirt when deputies arrived.

Bonelli told authorities he was agitated with the man and became upset when the man touched his shoulder.

Bonelli of 7047 Moss Ledge Run, was arrested and charged with battery on a person 65 years or older. he was released from the Land O' Lakes jail on $5,000 bond.
