Vendor Spaces Available at EcoFest 2012
The annual event at Learning Gate Community School in Lutz drew about 2,000 visitors last year.

Is green your color? There’s an event coming up that you may want to take part in.
EcoFest, a community event organized by Learning Gate Community School, is an annual event designed “to celebrate the many businesses, organizations, and individuals in the Tampa Bay area dedicated to the principles of sustainability: ecology, equity and economy,” according to the school’s website.
EcoFest 2012 will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 14 on the school's campus, 16215 Hanna Road in Lutz.

The public is welcome and admission is free.
There will be live music, workshops, demonstrations, green living products and services, as well as local artists, environmental organizations, alternative health practitioners, renewable energy specialists, and organic farms and gardens selling produce.

About 25 vendor spaces are still available, event organizer Michele Northrup said. All vendors must supply their own tables, chairs and tents.
Last year's event drew more than 100 vendors and 2,000 attendees, a press release stated.
