I-75 Reopen After Crash
Motorists with Monday morning plans to travel north on Interstate 75 through Pasco County found their path blocked following a crash.
SAN ANTONIO, FL β Update, 12:51 a.m. May 15: The Florida Highway Patrol has announced that all lanes of Interstate 75 have reopened in the area of State Road 52. A Monday morning crash forced a closing after a load of logs spilled onto the roadway.
Earlier: A Monday morning crash involving a tractor trailer hauling logs has forced the closing of northbound Interstate 75 lanes just south of State Road 52.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the truck was headed north when its load shifted. The driver lost control of the semi, which then overturned and then struck a concrete barrier wall that divides north- and southbound traffic.

Officials say the northbound lanes will remain closed until the cleanup is continued.

βMotorists should expect northbound delays and/or seek alternate routes for the next several hours,β Sgt. Steve Gaskins advised in an email to media.
It is unclear if the driver was injured in the crash. Authorities are not releasing further information at this time.
