Lutz Man Accused of Molesting Children

A 77-year-old Lutz man was arrested last week and accused of sexually molesting three children over a period of two years, according to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.

One child is now 8 years old. Another is 9. The oldest is 10. All are girls.

The crimes occurred in Dade City between 2009 and August 2011, according to an arrest affidavit. 

The girl who is now 9 told a detective the man would pull her pants and underwear down while she was seated on a couch and touch her sexual organ.

He would also ask the girl and her friends to take their clothes off and make “sexual statements” toward them, according to the affidavit.

The man was seen sexually touching the girl who is now 8 while she was clothed, according to the affidavit

According to the affidavit, he had the girl who is now 10 give him a back massage and then gave her one and then touched her chest. He also sexually touched and rubbed her sexual organ over her clothes.

Walter Curtis of 24335 Landing Drive was arrested on three charges of lewd or lascivious molestation. He was booked on to the Land O’ Lakes Jail Friday, Oct. 21, and then released the same day after making $30,000 bond.
