Lutz Woman Killed in Wesley Chapel Boulevard Crash

A 22-year-old Lutz woman was killed and two others injured in a Monday afternoon crash.

WESLEY CHAPEL, FL — The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a Monday afternoon crash that resulted in Lutz woman’s death and the injury of two other people.

According to the agency, Ryan Stein, 18, of Land O’ Lakes was heading south on Wesley Chapel Boulevard around 12:40 p.m. Dec. 12. As Stein’s Kia Sedona approached the intersection of State Road 56, Taylor Aspen Perritt, 22, was heading north on Wesley Chapel Boulevard.

Troopers say as the two vehicles neared each other, Stein lost control of his Sedona, went into the northbound lane and struck Peritt’s Pontiac G6.

Perritt was taken to Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel, but died later from her injuries. Stein suffered minor injuries in the crash, a highway patrol report said. His passenger, Faith Floridia, 19, of Land O’ Lakes was seriously injured.

Charges are pending the outcome of the agency’s investigation.
