A Land O’ Lakes man was accused of harming a 14-year-old over the weekend, according to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.
A sheriff's deputy observed a bruise on the teenager’s forehead and one on his right eye and small bruises on both sides of his neck.
The man admitted to slapping the boy numerous times all over his body on Saturday, according to an arrest affidavit. He admitted to picking up the youth and said he “slammed” him onto two beds, according to the report.

He said that when the boy fell off a bed, his face hit weights on the ground twice.
The man is the boy's caregiver, according to the arrest report.

Thomas Anderson Baldwin, 42, of Roderick Drive, was arrested Saturday and charged with child abuse. He was released from Land O’ Lakes Jail on Sunday after making $5,000 bond.
