Man Robs Woman for Prescription Drugs, Money
Phillip Beauchamp was charged with armed robbery.

A Land O’ Lakes man stands accused of attacking a woman and robbing her of her prescription drugs and money.
On April 2 at 6 p.m., the man drove up to a Citgo gas station at 3939 Land O’ Lakes Blvd., according to a Pasco County Sheriff’s Office report. The woman was there. He asked if he could borrow money, and she got in his car and gave him $20.
The man then drove the woman to the Glendale Villas apartment complex where deputies say he punched her in the face and stomach, according to the report. He then pushed a hunting knife into the woman’s side and demanded drugs and money, according to the report. He stole drugs and money and then threw the woman out of the car and drove away. The drugs were prescribed to her, according to Sheriff's Office Spokesman Kevin Doll.

Phillip Beauchamp, 28, of 4511 Land O’ Lakes Blvd., was arrested Monday after he was identified by photo and charged with armed robbery. He was in Land O' Lakes Jail Tuesday afternoon in lieu of $150,000 bail.
