2 Men Arrested in Gun Theft on War Admiral Drive

They stole 18 firearms worth a combined total of $90,000, deputies say.

Two men have been arrested in connection with the October theft of firearms from a home on War Admiral Drive in Land O’ Lakes.

The men entered the home through a broken rear window that led to a master bedroom on Oct. 3, 2011, according to a Pasco County Sheriff’s Office arrest report. About 18 firearms were stolen from a safe, which was pried open by unknown tools. The victim reported the items stolen were worth a combined total of $90,000.

In November, some of the loot was found at an abandoned home at 25416 Geddy Drive. A neighbor said a local resident liked to hang out there with friends.
