Monkey On Loose In Zephyrhiils: Pasco Sheriff
If you see a Capuchin monkey around Zephyrhills, contact the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.
ZEPHYRHILS, FL — Pasco County sheriff's deputies have been asked by the Florida Wildlife Commission (FWC) to disseminate information about a lost and domesticated Capuchin monkey in the vicinity of Handcart Road in Zephryhills.
If anyone spots him, please do not approach him or try to capture him, as he could become aggressive if frightened, the sheriff's office said.
If you spot the monkey, please notify the FWC at 813-558-5050 ext. 7.
