Pasco County Community Mirada Hosts 1st Farmers Market Event

Market Place at Mirada will feature more than 30 local vendors on Saturday, April 9

SAN ANTONIO, FL β€” The fast-growing community of Mirada will host its first Market Place at Mirada farmers market on Saturday, April 9, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The event, which was postponed due to inclement weather on its original date in March, will feature booths from more than 30 local vendors selling fresh foods, organic produce, crafts, plants and decor.

  • Terra’s Soaps: Homemade soaps made with natural products and essential oils or fragrances.
  • Shady Oaks: Fresh vegetables from a local farm.
  • Doggie Delights: Organic dog treats.
  • Potato Ballin’: Specialty stuffed potato balls.
  • Tom’s Custom Corn Hole Sets: Corn hole sets created with a variety of designs, many reflecting buyers’ favorite sports teams.
  • Pat’s Pots & Things: Home dΓ©cor items made from terra cotta pots, along with wreaths and centerpieces.
  • Your Neighbor’s Southern Sweets: Cakes, pies, bread and candy.

A selection of food options will also be on hand. The family-friendly event is free and open to the public.

Mirada is being developed by Encore Capital Management and MetroPlaces. The 2,200-acre master-planned community in Pasco Country features single-family homes and villas from the high-$200,000s by five builders: DR Horton, LGI Homes, Medley by Lennar and Maronda Homes.

With a 15-acre Mirada MetroLagoon now under construction, Mirada will offer swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, canoeing and more. Additional lifestyle amenities include ULTRAfi connectivity, a nature trail system, tot lot, community beach area, passive parks and dog parks.
