Pasco County Schools: Upcoming Dates You Need to Know About

LAND O’ LAKES, FL — The clocks have changed, the election’s over and the holidays are fast approaching. With Pasco County school kids preparing for more than a few upcoming days off, Patch wanted to help parents keep up.

Here’s a look at some important upcoming dates Pasco County parents need to know about as 2016 races to a close:

• Veterans Day – Nov. 11 is not a day off for Pasco kids.
• Progress reports – These are expected to go out Nov. 18.
• Thanksgiving break – District schools are out of session Nov. 19-25. Kids go back to school on Nov. 28.
• End of second grading period – The end of the second grading period is Dec. 22.
• Teacher planning day – Students have off Dec. 23 for a teacher planning day.
• Winter break – Students are off for winter break from Dec. 24 until Jan. 6, 2017. Their first day back in class is Jan. 9.
