A Pasco County deputy has been arrested and fired following a domestic disturbance at their Land O' Lakes home.

LAND O’ LAKES, FL β€” A 33-year-old Pasco County deputy faces criminal charges following a domestic dispute at his Land O’ Lakes home.

According to the sheriff’s office, Gregory Colaluca, 33, grabbed his girlfriend and pushed her on Dec. 19. The woman, who has not been named by authorities, hit her head on a bathroom wall. The push, an email from the agency said, resulted in her needing two staples to close a wound.

Colaluca, whose arrest on domestic battery charges was announced Wednesday, was fired from the agency, the email said. Colaluca, who worked as a road patrol deputy, was booked into the Pasco County Jail without bond.
