Pasco Health Department Offers Free Screening Program
Breast and cervical cancer screening is available at five locations in Pasco County.

The Pasco County Health Department offers a breast and cervical cancer
screening program for low-income and uninsured women between
the ages of 50 and 64, according to a media release.
The Pasco County Health Department also offers no-cost screening mammograms through Susan G. Komen for the Cure Florida Suncoast funding. Â
Pasco County residents who are low-income and uninsured between the ages of 40 and 49 may qualify for a free screening mammogram, the release stated.

Mammogram exceptions may be given if the client has a breast abnormality suggestive of cancer and is a woman 19 to 39 years of age, or a man 19 years or older, according to the release.
The program can be accessed at one of the five health department sites: Dade
City, Hudson, Land O' Lakes, New Port Richey and Zephyrhills.
