Pasco Junior Woman's Club Selling Pinwheels for Prevention

In a campaign intended to raise awareness of and prevent child abuse, the GFWC Pasco Junior Woman's Club is selling Pinwheels for Prevention.

Local business, civic groups, places of worship and nonprofits are invited to purchase pinwheels to show their support of the project. Funds raised support local initiatives to educate Pasco residents about child abuse.

Among those initiatives are parenting classes, sponsored in part by the Department of Children and Families and Prevent Child Abuse America, for parents who have lost custody of their children due to abuse or neglect.
