Pasco Offers Christmas Tree Recycling
Pasco residents can drop off Christmas trees at eight locations across the county.

LAND Oβ LAKES, FL β Pasco County is looking to remind its residents their Christmas trees can live on after the holiday season.
Between Tuesday, Dec. 26 and Sunday, Dec. 7, Pasco County residents can drop off their Christmas trees β minus decorations, metal hooks and tinsel β to be recycled. The county will use the Christmas trees for mulch, firewood or in wildlife habitats.
According to Pasco County, its residents recycled 1,205 Christmas trees during the 2016 holiday season, up from 1,142 the previous year.

Residents can drop off Christmas trees during normal business hours at any of the following eight Pasco County locations:
- John S. Burks Memorial Park, 13220 Gene Nelson Blvd., Dade City
- Veterans Memorial Park, 14333 Hicks Road, Hudson
- Anclote Gulf Park, 2305 Baillieβs Bluff Road, Holiday
- Land Oβ Lakes Recreation Complex, 3032 Collier Parkway, Land Oβ Lakes
- Sam W. Pasco Recreational Complex, 39835 Chancey Road, Zephyrhills
- Jay B. Starkey Wilderness Park, 10500 Wilderness Park Road, New Port Richey
- West Pasco Class III site, 14606 Hays Road, Spring Hill
- Wesley Chapel District Park (north end at Overpass Road), 7727 Boyette Road, Wesley Chapel
