Pasco School Choice Application Period Begins Feb. 1
The window for submitting applications for school choice ends March 1.

LAND O’ LAKES, FL – Pasco County Schools will open its window for submitting an application for school choice during the 2017-18 school year on Wednesday, Feb. 1.
School choice applications can be accessed starting at 8 a.m. by going to the district website, www.pascoschools.org, and clicking on the school choice banner at the top. Applicants for magnet schools can also submit a school choice application for a traditional Pasco County School. The application window runs until March 1.
If a student is currently attending a school on school choice, parents or guardians do not need to reapply unless:

- Their address changed after initial approval
- They reside outside of Pasco County
- Their school was impacted by boundary changes, or
- The student will be moving to the next school level (for instance elementary to middle)
Families who live in another county and wish to request student assignment to a Pasco County School must submit a release from their home county with the open enrollment period. Students who reside in Pasco County will be given first consideration for school choice enrollment.
Applications that have not been completed in their entirety will not be considered. Families requesting choice enrollment for more than one child must complete separate applications for each child.

Pasco County will host a separate open enrollment period for its three newest Cambridge Education Program schools: San Antonio Elementary, Paul R. Smith Middle and Anclote High.
