Port Richey Man, 28, Killed In State Road 52 Crash
A three-vehicle crash on State Road 52 and Ehren Cutoff claimed one life and left several people injured.

LAND O’ LAKES, FL — The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a three-vehicle crash on State Road 52 that left one man dead and several people injured Saturday evening.
According to the patrol, Johnathon Michael Carmack, 28, of Port Richey was heading eastbound on State Road 52, just east of Ehren Cutoff, around 6 p.m. March 25. At that time, a Lincoln SUV driven by Samuel D. Grimes Jr., 27, of Daytona Beach was heading west with a Mercedes E400 driven by Efraim Abramsohn, 70, of San Antonio right behind it.
Troopers say Carmack went into the westbound lanes and drove into the path of Grimes’ SUV. The left side of Carmack’s Chevrolet Blazer struck Grimes’ Lincoln. The Lincoln rotated, left the road and hit a fence, a highway patrol report said. Carmack’s Blazer continued eastbound and struck Abramsohn’s Mercedes, the report said.
