Republican Club to Host Weatherford, Corcoran at Next Meeting

Want to know what's on the legislative agenda for Pasco?

Representative Will Weatherford and Representative Richard Corcoran are slated to speak at The Republican Club of Central Pasco meeting April 25.

New redistricting maps have both men representing the Central Pasco area and both are currently running unopposed, according to a press release.

Representative Weatherford is slated for Speaker of the House for 2013-2014 session, and Representative Corcoran was elected as Speaker for the House for the 2017-2018 session.  "The Representatives will discuss the upcoming Legislative agenda and their visions as future speakers," the press release stated.

A short meet and greet will follow the meeting for club vice president, Sandy Graves, to announce her candidacy for Pasco County State Committeewoman.

The club now meets at the Copperstone Executive Suites, 3632 Land O' Lakes Blvd. Refreshments and networking will begin at 6 p.m. and the meeting will begin at 7 p.m. The public is welcome.  For more information, call Connie Queller at 813-326-8802.
