Saint Leo Sponsors National Middle School Math Competition

SAINT LEO, FL - The Mathematics and Science Department will once again host the American Mathematics Competition 8 (AMC 8) at University Campus this year, for free, for the benefit of students in grades six, seven, and eight. The competition encourages an interest in problem-solving skills through a 25-question multiple-choice test given in a 40-minute time period. The test comes from the Mathematical Association of America. The local competition at Saint Leo will be held at 6 p.m., Tuesday, November 15, in TECO Hall, on the first floor of the School of Business Building.

The business building is visible at the end of the traffic circle, just to the left, as you come to the end of the short campus entrance road. Saint Leo is located at 33701 State Road 52, Saint Leo, FL, 33544. Parking is available in surface lots and in the campus garage.
