New Tampa Bay Zika Case Confirmed

A new travel-related Zika virus case was confirmed in Hillsborough County Friday along with 11 others across the state. No new non-travel related cases were added to the growing list of confirmed infections, which has now climbed to 756 across the state.

Tropical Disturbance Forming in Straits of Florida

According to the National Weather Service, an area of low pressure in the Straits of Florida has a 40 percent chance of developing more over the next 48 hours.
