LAND O' LAKES, FL β€” A 19-year-old Sunlake High School student was arrested Monday after being accused of making written threats to kill students and carrying a concealed weapon.

According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, the student, Dimitri Juste, was sent home from school Monday for a disciplinary issue. While walking to his home on Wellstone Drive in Land O' Lakes, Juste texted threats to other students still on campus, according to a sheriff's affidavit.

When deputies confronted him in the area of Sunlake Boulevard and State Road 54 at 1:05 p.m., they said they found a knife concealed on him. He told deputies he found the knife on his way home from school.

He's been charged with making written threats to kill or do bodily harm.
