Land O' Lakes Teen Killed In Crash With Semi: Police
Police said the 16-year-old girl was driving south on Ehren Cutoff when she collided with a Peterbilt truck Friday.
PASCO COUNTY, FL — A Land O' Lakes teenager died Friday in a crash involving a semi truck in Pasco County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
According to authorities, the 16-year-old girl was driving south on Ehren Cutoff shortly after 3 p.m. when she failed to negotiate a curve in the road. Police said the girl's car crossed the center line and collided with a Peterbilt single-unit truck driven by a 20-year-old Ocala man.
The girl died at the crash scene, police said.
