Victims of Early Morning Crash Identified
The Florida Highway Patrol released the names of two men killed in a Land O' Lakes traffic accident Monday morning.

The drivers killed in an early morning traffic accident in Land O' Lakes have been identified.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Michael Cartee Boles, 36, of Spring Hill was driving a 1991 Chevy S-10 northbound on Land O' Lakes Boulevard near Sunterra Drive at about 7:35 a.m. on Dec. 3 when
Jeffrey Makc Osborne, 43, of Spring Hill avoided colliding with Boles by turning onto the west shoulder of the highway. But Boles's vehicle continued northbound in the southbound lane, colliding head-on with a 2007 Mitsubishi Gallant driven by Joseph Norris Whaley, 21 of Spring Hill.

Bradford Lee Ball, 36, of Spring Hill turned his 2006 Toyota Corolla to avoid that collision and hit a traffic control sign. Ball also had a passenger in his vehicle, Diane Francis Stivers, 62, of Spring Hill.
Both Boles and Whaley received fatal injuries and died at the scene.

The incident remains under investigation, according to FHP.
