Weekend Events Include Music Festival, Egg Hunts

Friday, March 30
Land O’ Lakes Relay For Life
, an 18-hour overnight fundraising event, kicks off at 6 p.m. at Land O’ Lakes High, 20325 Gator Lane. Teams will walk in honor of those winning their fight against cancer and in memory of those who have lost their battle.
“Everyone is invited to come and walk with us at any time but opening ceremonies begin at 6 p.m. with the Survivors Lap and dinner reception,” according to the event’s . There will be live music, Zumba, a Mr. Relay Contest, Gator Wrestling, plus a variety of foods and fun for everyone throughout the night.

An Evening at the Vineyard
Strong Tower Vineyard, 17810 Forge Drive in Spring Hill, will extend their hours to host an Evening at the Vineyard. The community is invited to sit on the veranda for an evening under the stars. “You are always welcome to bring a picnic!” the vineyard’s website states. Wine will be available for purchase by the glass or bottle including the vineyard’s Mulled Spiced Wine.

of Land O’ Lakes will be on hand selling honey made desserts as well as other raw honey products. Sunflower Chef Amy will offer appetizers, culinary creations and desserts. Woodapple Farms will be selling their all-natural goat milk soaps, lib balms, perfumes and more.
The vineyard open at 10 a.m., and will remain open until 10 p.m. for this special event. Fire pits will be lit if it’s a cool evening.
The Healing Power of Drumming
, 3016 Land O Lakes Blvd, will host a special interactive performance by Papa Malick Faye from 7 to 9 p.m. event will feature an introduction to sound and drumming, sound journey/healing, drum rhythm practice and a drum circle. Cost is $25.
Barefoot John Performs at Walton's Ice Cream & Coffee

Saturday, March 31
Relay For Life Continues
An early pancake breakfast will be served at 6 a.m. for the Land O’ Lakes at Land O’ Lakes High, 20325 Gator Lane.
A free egg hunt for children 10 and younger starts at 10 a.m. with the Easter Bunny leading the way.
Egg Hunt at Wiregrass
The Shops At Wiregrass in Wesley Chapel has partnered with Victorious Life Church to host a community egg hunt and special-needs egg hunt.
The special-needs egg hunt will begin at 10 a.m. in the JCPenney Courtyard. The community egg hunts will be held every hour, on the hour, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Center Court. There will also be a coloring area sponsored by Victorious Life Church, face painting, balloon artists, skits and storytelling throughout the day.
Music Festival
Organic Life’s Music Festival will run from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at 1900 Oak Grove Blvd in Lutz. “Local and headline acts from all over the state of Florida” and organic vendors will be featured, according to the event’s Facebook page. Admission is free. Check out Organic Life’s website for a full concert lineup.
Football and Cheer Registration
Land O’ Lakes Gators PAL Football and Cheer will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. at 21539 Village Lakes Shopping Center Drive. Visit the organization’s website for more information.
