Wesley Chapel Home Invasion Suspect Sought
Pasco County deputies are looking for a man wanted in connection with a Wednesday afternoon armed home invasion in Wesley Chapel.

WESLEY CHAPEL, FL — Pasco County Sheriff’s deputies are asking residents to keep a lookout for a man wanted in connection with a Wednesday afternoon armed home invasion in Wesley Chapel.
According to the agency, just after 1 p.m. Aug. 23, a man barged into a home in the 26000 block of Magnolia Boulevard. Once inside, the man took firearms, an email from the sheriff’s office said.

An elderly person was inside the home at the time the robbery occurred. The person, who is not being identified, “was battered but received non-life threatening injuries,” the email noted.
Deputies say the man they are looking for is described as being a black male with a medium height and medium build. He was last seen wearing shorts and a polo shirt. The suspect was carrying a black backpack and had a gun when he entered the home, the email said.

A composite sketch of the suspect was released by the sheriff’s office Wednesday evening. Deputies say the man should “be considered armed and dangerous.”
