Wesley Chapel Man Dies After Crash

A Wesley Chapel man died after an overnight crash in Zephyrhills July 4.

Terry Carver, 53,  was in the parking lot of the Cumberland Farms  at 34434 State Road 54 when he reversed his Ford F-150 and crashed into a Dodge Durango parked near some gas pumps, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Carver fled the scene in his truck. A Pasco County Sheriff’s deputy halted him in a traffic stop. When he noticed Carver was suffering a medical emergency, he called for transportation to take Carver to a hospital. Carver died at the hospital.

The occupants of the Dodge Durango were uninjured.
