The 8-year-old collie mix is looking for a couch to retire on, the Pasco County animal shelter's website says. 

Buddy "is a very sweet boy and has very good manors. He know all of his basic commands and is already housebroken," the website says. 

He is friendly, likeable and enjoys children—but not cats, Pasco County Animal Services volunteer Jeff Lipkes says.

The adoption fee is $70, plus a $5 tag required for Pasco residents. The shelter accepts cash or checks only.
