Woman Accused of Stealing, Pawning Neighbor's Weedwacker

A Land O' Lakes woman entered her neighbor's garage this week and took a weedwacker then pawned it for $40, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.

Johanna Kristine Johnson, 33, of 3228 Lake Saxon Drive entered the residence sometime between May 5 and May 6, then pawned the tool at Cash America in Tampa on May 12, according to a complaint affidavit.

The weedwacker is valued at $239, according to the report.

Johnson was arrested Thursday, June 7, and charged with burglary and petit theft. She remained in the Land O' Lakes jail on Friday in lieu of $15,000 bond.
