Woman Enters Middle School, Steals Cash from Resource Officer

The 21-year-old walked into the deputy's office and took $32 from her purse, according to a sheriff's report.

A woman walked into Pine View Middle School on Nov. 18 and stole $32 from the purse of the school resource officer, according to a Pasco County complaint affidavit.

Falon Shea Flores, 21, of Land O' Lakes entered the resource officer's office without the knowledge or permission of the school's administrators, the report stated. She then took the cash from the deputy's purse and left the school grounds. She was stopped down the road by the same deputy minutes later, and the money was recovered, according to the report.

One of the bills was marked with distinct blue ink, the report stated.

Flores was arrested Nov. 22 and charged with petty theft. She was re-arrested at the jail Dec. 4 and charged with burglary after confessing to the incident, according to the report.

Flores remains in the Land O' Lakes jail on $10,000 bond.
