Woman Flees Assailant After He Rips Her Clothes Off

He caught up with with her outside and continued to punch her in the face, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.

A Lutz man employed as an armed security guard was arrested Monday and charged with felony battery after ripping off a woman's clothes and punching her several times in the face, according to a Pasco County complaint affidavit.

The two were involved in a verbal dispute inside a home, and "during the argument (the man) began to punch the victim in the face with a closed fist and began ripping the victim's clothes off," the affidavit stated.

The woman was able to grab her cell phone and exit the residence without any clothes on, but when she tried to call 911, Evely Robert Lilly, 56, grabbed the phone and slammed it on the sidewalk, according to the affidavit.

Lilly then began punching the woman in the face again while outside the home, in view of two independent witnesses, the report stated.

The woman was transported to an undisclosed hospital for her injuries, according to the report.

After Lilly was arrested, he "admitted to the incident because he was upset with her."

Lilly's occupation is listed as an "armed security guard" in the affidavit, however, no additional information on his specific employer was available from the sheriff's office.

Lilly faces charges of felony domestic battery and tampering with a victim. He remains in the Land O' Lakes Jail on $2,500 bond.
