Woman Produced Counterfeit Money With Home Printer; Mother-in-Law Tipped Off Cops
Kelli McClain told arresting deputies she passed the bills off at a local supermarket and gas station because she needed money for food.

A 44-year-old Land Oβ Lakes woman was busted for forging U.S. currency.
Kelli McClain ofΒ Roundview Court printed out counterfeit bills on an HP printer inside her homeΒ and passed them off at a local supermarket and gas station, according to a Pasco County Sheriffβs Office report.
Authorities said they were tipped off to the fake bills by McClainβs mother-in-law. McClain allegedly told deputies she needed money for food.

McClain was arrested Friday, July 12 and taken to Land Oβ Lakes Detention Center. She was later released on $5,000 bond.Β
