Largo's 8th Annual Shamrock'n Run Set For March 15
The family-friendly event at Ulmer Park features a 5K run, a 1.5-mile walk and a kids race.
Get ready to lace up your jogging shoes, Largo residents: The eighth annual Shamrock'n Run is slated to take place 7 p.m. Friday, March 15, at Ulmer Park.
According to the city's website, the family friendly event features a double loop course for runners, a single loop course for walkers and also a run for kids ages 7 and younger.
Amenities for racers include T-shirts for the first 400 participants; a post-race meal and refreshments; awards for 4K top finishers; and T-shirts, ribbons and a meal for participants in the kids' race.

There will also be food and live music, courtesy of local group the Stick Michael Band.
Registration for the event can be done online here or by filling out this printable form and mailing it to the address listed on the sheet.

Fees for the race are as follows:Â
- 5K - $20 in advance, $25 after March 8
- 1.5 mile walk - $15 in advance, $20 after March 8
- Clover Kids Fun Run - $7
The event kicks off Friday, March 15 night at 7 p.m at Ulmer Park, located at 301 West Bay Dr. Pre-registration runs until Friday, Mar. 8., and the forms can be dropped off at the Highland Rec Complex, located at 400 Highland Ave.
