July is National Ice Cream month. Through the end of the year Largo Play Perks card members get buy one item, get one item 50 percent off at Topper's Creamery on East Bay. Get discount details on the city's website.
Prefer an ice cream social? Seniors are invited to the Seminole Recreation Center Tuesday at 1 p.m. Cost for the ice cream social and movie is $3.
Movie Deals
Want to catch a movie with the kids before school starts? Mondays through Thursdays are Value Days at Largo Mall 8. All shows before 3 p.m. are $4.50. Value days include discounts on hot dogs and nachos.

School starts Aug. 19. Planning to get school supplies during the Florida sales tax holiday this weekend? Pinellas County shares 18 ways to save on school supplies including ways to recycle, donate and reuse items in your house.

For National Heatstroke Prevention Day on Wednesday, Pinellas County Public Safety Services is encouraging a social media conversation day to share safety messages.
