New Dunkin' Donuts Could Open This Weekend
Owners say work on the Missouri Avenue shop is almost complete, but they don't want to open before it's ready.
After many and anxious anticipation by residents, the new Dunkin' Donuts at 600 N. Missouri Ave. is scheduled to open Saturday.
According to Dunkin' Donuts Field Marketing Manager Betsy Beck, this is the first location owned by the Adler Group, LLC, with Jim Adler as CEO and Ava Lawrence as president.
The new location, which is in the spot of a former Wendy's restaurant adjacent to Largo High School, will employ 30 people, have a drive-thru and be open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

Beck also said via email that the new Dunkin' Donuts "will offer its signature menu items in addition to new products, including Dunkin’ Donuts K-Cup® portion packs, Chicken Biscuit Sandwiches and freshly-brewed Sweet Tea. Guests will also be able to savor the season with Dunkin’ Donuts’ fall harvest menu lineup, including its famous Pumpkin Coffee, Latte, Pumpkin Donut and Pumpkin Muffin."
Largo Patch stopped by this week and spoke briefly with Jim Adler, who was busy putting the finishing touches on his new shop.
