• Tom Hamilton's Close Enemies Announce 2026 Tour Dates (rttnews.com) — Aerosmith bassist Tom Hamilton’s band Close Enemies is bringing its 2026 tour to Largo on January 23, with a show at the Central Park Performing Arts Center. The concert promises an intimate, chemistry-driven rock set featuring new songs, as part of a short run of Florida dates that also includes Fort Lauderdale, Sarasota, Mount Dora, and Fort Myers.
   

• Proposal would bring stadium, sports complex to Clearwater (tbnweekly.com) — Clearwater is weighing a privately financed proposal to replace The Landings Golf Course with a major sports complex featuring a stadium, fields, courts, water park, and gym, while keeping the land city-owned. The same developer previously floated a similar sports project on a former landfill in Largo that voters turned down, offering a cautionary precedent for how large recreation redevelopments can play out in Pinellas County.
