Largo Man Injured After Shaving Cream Can in Oven Explodes

A Largo man received minor injuries after a can of shaving cream he put inside the oven exploded, according to a report by the Tampa Bay Times. 

The man, who has not been identified, just wanted a hot shave, the Times reported. 

"The can blew up, hurling aluminum shards at his face.

'Not a good idea, in my estimation,' said Largo Fire Division Chief Dave Mixson ... It isn't advisable to heat metal cans, Mixson said."
