Miami Linebacker In Crash That Killed 3 In Largo: Reports
Adarius Hayes was one of the drivers involved in a crash that killed a 78-year-old woman and two young children, according to ESPN.
LARGO, FL — Miami linebacker Adarius Hayes was hurt in a crash that killed three people —including two small children — in his hometown of Largo, according to reports.
Police said Saturday afternoon that they were investigating the deadly collision at Ridge Road and Orangeview Drive.
ESPN reported Sunday that Hayes was driving a Dodge Durango that collided with a Kia Soul that was turning left. Two people — including Hayes — were injured, while the 78-year-old driver of the Kia and two of its passengers — Charlie Herbert Solomon Riveria, 4, and Jabari Elijah Solomon, 10 — all died, according to ESPN.

No one was immediately charged and police do not think alcohol was a factor, ESPN reported.
Hayes finished his freshman 2024 season with the Hurricanes with four tackles and one interception, according to ESPN.
