New Process Helps Pinellas County Families Get Ready For School Year
The district has compiled all back-to-school forms so parents can fill them out online in one place.

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — The summer seemed to fly by and now parents, teachers and students are scrambling to complete lengthy to-do lists in time for the first day of school on Wednesday.
If you're among the parents behind on back-to-school preparations, here are some things you need to complete to be ready for the first bell of the 2022-23 school year:
New Student Registration
If you are new to Pinellas County or if your child is transitioning into the Pinellas County School District, you’ll need to reserve a seat at a zoned school for the 2022-2023 school year.

Visit the New Student Registration page to learn about the registration process and required documents. The Student Assignment Office in the district's Administration Building, 301 4th St. SW, Largo, is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Contact the office at StudentAssignment@pcsb.org or 727-588-6210.
Bus Information
If your child is a bus rider, you should have received information in the mail from the district's transportation department with your child's bus stop, route number, and pick-up and drop-off times.

Back-To-School Forms
The district has compiled all back-to-school forms so parents can fill them out online in one place. Simply log into Focus at focus.pcsb.org and complete your Back-to-School Forms packet.
You will be prompted as soon as you log into Focus. Forms are also available at www.pcsb.org/backtoschoolforms.
Note: Parents must be linked to their student to use the new Focus forms. See the Focus Forms Tip Sheet, available in English and Spanish.

- Enroll for the self-service reset password management here.
- After enrolling, you will be able to reset your password. You will need to create a complex password that is a minimum of 10 characters long. New passwords will require at least one character from three of the following four categories: lower case alphabetic (a-z), upper case alphabetic (A-Z), numeric (0-9) and special characters (examples: ! @ or #).
If you are unable to change your password online or if you do not know your username or password, visit your child’s school. Remember to bring your identification with you.

For the 2022-2023 school year, school breakfast will remain free for all Pinellas County Schools students.- School meals at many schools will continue to be free through the Community Eligibility Program. View the Community Eligibility Program Schools.
- Some schools will return to regularly priced lunch. View the schools returning to regular priced lunch.
- Students in all district schools are still able to apply for free and reduced-lunch meal benefits online. The online application for free meal benefits is available here.
Family Engagement

Student Accident Insurance
The Pinellas County School Board, like most Florida school boards, requires students participating in certain school activities to purchase student accident insurance. Get more information on student accident insuranceand enrollment information on mandatory and voluntary student accident insurance
