1. 2025 Year in Review: Pinellas County (tbnweekly.com) — Largo residents will soon see Horizon West Bay open on West Bay Drive, bringing new city offices, retail space, parking and a public plaza right in the heart of town. This broader Pinellas County year‑in‑review also highlights hurricane recovery, school enrollment declines, transportation projects and leadership shakeups that shape the region surrounding Largo.

Puppy abandoned in Largo park passes away, remaining puppies recovering (wfla.com) — A severely injured puppy abandoned with 11 others in a Largo park has died despite intensive care, while the remaining puppies are still recovering. The rescue group shared that trauma caused fatal internal injuries and has passed its findings to Largo police, who are investigating and highlighting a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.

Dr. Raymond Henry Holderman 1940 (suntimes.com) — Largo residents are mourning the passing of Dr. Raymond Henry Holderman, an 85-year-old physician and longtime community member who died peacefully on November 6, 2025. Born in Montana and educated at UCLA and Chicago Osteopathic, he built a respected medical career and enjoyed fishing, stained glass, travel, and time with friends. A funeral service is scheduled for January 10, 2026, at Serenity Funeral Home.
