U.S. 19 Closed Because Of Downed Power Lines: Largo Police Department

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — A large section of U.S. Highway 19 in Pinellas County is closed Monday afternoon because of downed power lines caused by a traffic crash, the Largo Police Department wrote in a Facebook post around 2:30 p.m.

The northbound and southbound lanes are closed from Gulf to Bay Boulevard to Roosevelt Boulevard.

The crash happened near Belleair Road.

Drivers are asked to use alternate routes.
