• Lauderhill, Florida Power & Light team up to deliver Christmas cheer to local veterans (caribbeannationalweekly.com) — Lauderhill city leaders and Florida Power & Light volunteers braved heavy rain to bring holiday decorations, gifts, and personal thanks to veterans at a St. George neighborhood home. About 20 volunteers, including Mayor Denise D. Grant and Commissioner Melissa Dunn, helped transform the residence as part of FPL’s long-running community service initiative, making sure local veterans felt honored and appreciated this season.
