Pasco Firefighters Attempt To Save Resident From Mobile Home Fire In Zephyrhills

ZEPHYRHILLS, FL — One person is dead following an overnight fire at a mobile home in Zephryhills.

Pasco County Fire Rescue was called to a fire at a mobile home in the 40100 block of Nottingham Trail at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday.

Upon arrival, firefighters reported that the single-wide mobile home was engulfed in flames. Firefighters began a search-and-rescue operation and found an adult inside the mobile home. They carried the person out and attempted life-saving measures, but the person was pronounced dead at the scene.

It took firefighters about 15 minutes to knock the fire down. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
