1 Person Fatally Shot, 2 Injured At Birthday Party At Dade City Park
Dade City police say the shooting was the result of an ongoing dispute and ask anyone with information to come forward.
DADE CITY, FL — The Dade City Police Department with assistance from the Pasco Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred at a birthday party at Watson Park, 14536 19th St., Dade City, on Saturday evening.
Dade City police said they are searching for the person who shot a gun into a crowd of people attending the party, hitting three adults. One person died and two other adults were taken to the hospital where one was treated and released and the other is in stable condition at the hospital.
Dade City police say the shooting is related to an ongoing dispute over the past few months between two groups of people.

"The Dade City Police Department appreciates the tremendous amount of support from our community as we and our law enforcement partners continue to investigate the recent shootings at Watson Park," said Dade City police Capt. Robert Turngate, who added that detectives are working around the clock to find the shooter but said there is no threat to the community.
